GUITAR SIMPLIFIED WORKSHOPS
We offer half-day, one and two day workshops at your location to give you a little extra help in getting you off and rolling integrating guitars into your music program(s). If you are a business, like a music studio, where you will be teaching new children and their parents to play on a continuing basis, and would like to be able to sell the guitars they are learning on, we will also set you up with all the accounts necessary to purchase guitars, dulcimers and accessories wholesale. (You do not need to have had any prior guitar playing experience to teach the GUITAR BARRE® METHOD to others.)
HALF-DAY and ONE DAY WORKSHOPS - designed for child care centers, school districts (in-service training), elementary schools, special situations (e.g., music or recreational therapy applications), etc. Half-day is 2 hours of contact time, full day is 4 hours of contact time. Another 2 hours of set up time, working on guitars, etc. is included. These workshops are available only in Utah, Colorado, Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland and DC. Child and adult guitars will be provided for workshop participants, and will be available for sale. Cost of the HALF-DAY WORKSHOP is $150, and the FULL-DAY WORKSHOP is $200.
TWO-DAY WORKSHOPS - designed primarily for music studios working with both children and parents who would like to also offer guitars for sale. These workshops involve 2 hours each day of in-class demo time, 2 hours each day working with studio staff on such things as guitar set-ups and ordering (wholesale accounts for all necessary suppliers will be set up for you), and another 2 hours of miscellaneous training. Pre-shipped STARTER KITS are available for purchase which include 2 each child, student and adult guitars with all the necessary accessories for students and teaching. The STARTER KIT (optional, but highly recommended) is $1000 and the WORKSHOP cost is $300 plus transportation and lodging. These workshops are available anywhere in the continental US and Canada.
Note: you should expect to net $200 per family from guitar and accessories sales.
