This is a very special and unique book designed to help everyone understand the simplicity of basic music theory concepts through pictures (a picture truly is worth a thousand words). With the help of the "DANCING SEA HORSES" and friends, the "MAGICAL MUSICAL SPIRALED SEASHELL", the "SEVEN ARROWED DOVE" and others, you will gain a comprehensive and holistic view of the origins of our system of harmony and "SEE" what music is really all about.

We feel this is a must for anyone who has any kind of interest in knowing more about music, beginners as well as experienced musicians. This is unlike any other book ever written on music theory. It should serve as a model for teaching music theory in all elementary music classrooms.

The Keyboard and "Key Unlocking" Simplified Beginners Guide

The Keyboard and Key Unlocking Simplified Beginners Guide The Keyboard and Key Unlocking Simplified

This is an excellent guide for any beginning player covering simplified chording and note reading, as well as giving powerful insights into the simplicity of creating your own music on any keyboard instrument.

You will be introduced to a new tool called the "KEYBOARD HARMONIZER" (you can easily make your own) which makes playing chords and melodies in any key a snap.

You will also be taught how to use your KEYBOARD HARMONIZER to "UNLOCK THE KEY" of any piece of music you are listening to so that you can play along in your own, creative, naturally harmonizing way, without having to try and follow the chords or the lead melody. Once you have mastered this simple technique, you will also be able to play along with music on other diatonic instruments such as harmonicas and penny whistles.

The Music Simplified Guide Family Harmonymaking
The Music Simplified Guide

Would you like to be able to make music with family and friends, spontaneously, at any time you like, on a wide variety of instruments, both reading music and improvising, for the rest of your life, comfortably, without practicing or investing time and money in music lessons? This is the book and video for you then - like none other ever produced on the subject of music.

This simple beginners guide is designed to show teachers and parents how to put smaller and specially tuned guitars, ukuleles and dulcimers into the hands of young children so that they can accompany any song being played. It also focuses on simple ways to use a variety of melodic instruments to nurture creativity in young children and to create calming forms of music.

It will empower you to feel comfortable "creating" your own gentle music with the help of your children, any time you want (with specific suggestions on how to integrate "family harmonymaking" into your everyday routines). The book comes with a Companion 2 hr Video which helps you see and hear how simply and beautifully it all works. It is written for those with no musical backgrounds (experienced musicians and music teachers will find our approach to be most interesting as well). The focus is on making music in just the Key of C.

The Child Who Spoke with the Earth

The Child Who Spoke with the Earth The Child Who
Spoke with the Earth

This is a beautiful story about a child's conversations with some of its non-human friends in the forest. It comes with a CD which reads the entire story and includes all of the music that accompanies the book.

The theme of the story and music is living in "harmony" with the earth. The music on the CD is all recorded in the Key of G for easy improvisational accompaniment on any Key of C, F or G instrument.

The book is also designed to be artistically colored and "brought to life", and includes suggestions on simple living and on how to turn traditional competitive ball games into co-operative, gentle "freestyle ambidextrous dances".

The Child Who Went to the Zoo

The Child Who Went to the Zoo The Child Who
Went to the Zoo

We apologize.
This book is currently out of print.

This is a beautiful, poignant, story about a child who excitedly visits the Zoo, and who quite unexpectedly becomes the object of a song sung by one of the Zoo's wise elders - a giraffe. The giraffe shares its insights on what is happening to the earth (from the earth's point of view), and what the people of the earth could do to help save the homes of wild things everywhere.

On the CD, which comes with the book (which is suitable for fine coloring by all ages), is sung the entire giraffe's story. Several Appendices to the story cover specific ways we can help the earth and also help change the nature of Zoos.

One Appendix in particular describes the Schools/Zoos Project which offers some unique insights into ways children can develop intimate relationships with the earth and give back to the earth through a regular series of visits to their local Zoo or Aquarium.
